hey boys! tiiime for another update:

school is so effing hard you wouldn't believe. so many papers. and i feel like after ten years i really shouldn't have to go anymore. i could drop out, but i guess that's frowned upon. so instead of dropping school altogether, i dropped french which is possibly the best thing i've ever done for myself. i guess you're supposed to stay in a language as long as possible, but whatever. in a way i did stay in as long as possible cause if i had done it again this year i would have killed myself. whatever i'm taking three freaking APs and if college doesn't like that i didn't take french for a fourth year then they can SUCK IT cause i wouldn't want to go there anyway. super duper gang.

weekends are cool, i'm assisstant directing "beauty and the beast" which is totally sick. everyone should come see it it's in january sometime... last friday we had a mixer, which was pretty much the stupidest shit ever. but i guess we had our share of laughs over stalkers and emo boys sporting excessive eyeliner.. you are not my chemical romance, dear. last night was really fun cause my friends and i are so damn badass. love you guys so much :). so yeah, i guess you could say life is cool on the weekends and blows monday-friday.

i really miss the summer... i especially want to go sailing again with matt and pat. and go back to the outer banks for a week NOT at the very end of the summer which sucked.

i guess i'm in a pretty good mood right now.. hopefully going out to "paint the town" (sike) tonight. for some reason i straightened my hair today for the first time since like last school year, and i burnt my head and it itches/hurts so bad and i don't know what to do. my brother's hamster died last night... rip chompers. i also got a myspace, which is the shit. i was watching "laguna beach" today (actually like five minutes ago and i will get back to it when i finish this jaunt) and i realized that i need a boy and i really wouldn't mind if he were talan. seriously i want him. but let's not get started on the boy(s) i want. yeah. new music, old school better than ezra. that was the "everything crammed into one paragraph" paragraph.

so yeah. summer's over. just as i get back from the beach it's "dunzo," if you will. let me just say, it was a-fucking-mazing. i did so much and had so much fun. i also feel like i grew up and learned a lot about people and about life. and it wasn't all good, but i had to learn sometime. but mostly it was great. no (major) regrets. this summer was the best of my life (so far) in every way possible and i can't believe it's over. i love nikki and holly and dana and matt and pat and lauren and kevin and my family and everyone else i spent it with.

yeah so i guess that's my end-of-summer entry... and that sucks. but school starting means parties, and weekends, and breaks, and shows... and i'm sure other good things that are escaping me right now because i really wish summer would just go on forever.

so pimpernel is over and i guess it went pretty damn well. B4B is over, which i am not so thrilled about. act II will probably end up being the exact same thing, but the transition will be tough (no willco - boooo). but in the words of originally shakespeare and then corri oster, "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." for anyone who didn't get that, in this context, that means that even though B4B is not called B4B anymore, we are still as close as ever and will still do theater together. minus the seniors. god, i'm gonna miss the seniors. but pimpernel has been a memorable and fun last show... especially the post-show trips to broadway diner and other crappy eating establishments as well as our wild partying (this shit is fuckin' doo doo!") ha, scott made my mom a shirt that said "i survived pimperhell" and then on the back it says "and all i got was this t-shirt 'cause they don't pay." i thought that was rude and amusing. i am also amused by the fact that the last word ever to be sung onstage by B4B was "ho" (as in "awkward ho!"). how fitting.  in addition and more seriously, the last line was "onward ho" which really is fitting.

now post-pimpernel summer has been so painfully uneventful. last night i went to california tortilla with lauren, stephen, and anna. i can't wait to go to the beach.

in summary, it's almost summer, but in aside from that, here's catching up:

two weekends ago: backstage pass surprised everyone by coming together unexpectedly well. and it turned out to be pretty fun. the audiences were impressed enough... or pretended to be... so thats cool i guess. and then we had a party at mi casa which was tres fun. so now fierce is over, for better or for worse. mostly better i think. and i don't really remember anything else. alzheimers i suppose.

the next weekend (aka last weekend): four day weekend because we got friday off and then monday was memorial day. i was supposed to go to princeton, but that didn't happen because my mom had to be here for the B4B stuff (B4B is no more, and there's nothing really else to be said, but obviously that's devastating to me, and more so to a lot of my friends). anyway, i think in the end i was glad that i didn't go, though i'm sure i would have had fun either way because it was my grandpa's 50th reunion in princeton... so that would have been cool to march in the P-rade and what have you. but instead friday was elisa's birthday party, which was pretty sweet. then i don't remember what happened saturday, so i guess it wasn't too exciting... and sunday night... wow... OUTRAGEOUS! "hey - how about less talk, more drink?!" oooooh my... then i spent my day off monday recovering from the night before and painting sets for pimpernel.

then this week/weekend: let me begin by saying that it is now summer except for exams tuesday, wednesday, and thursday from 8-11:35. but then  at 11:35 on thursday i am totally DONE! whooo. friday i went to rio avec nikki and holly. then saturday was KENNY CHESNEY! it was an overall good show, but i was disappointed that kenny wasn't the best part. he was kinda cocky and not humbled by a whole stadium of people paying to see him play. but keith urban was reeeally good. def my favorite part. then today i painted sets, got killer a tan/burn, "studied" with nikki and holly, and then we dressed up as retards to go play tennis. if i ever figure out how to use the scanner those pictures will be ALL OVER my webshots. and tomorrow is going to be dedicated to studying. and i eat way too much. boooo.

umm... pimpernel is pretty crazy... we're adding extra rehearsals because we're pushing so close to show. though i'm still feeling confident (as always) that it will come together during tech week.

CAN'T WAIT 'TIL SUMMER... 11:35 A.M. JUNE 9TH - SOPHOMORE YEAR IS DONE!
